Mycoledger is a product of Myco Money LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Austin, Texas. We built Mycoledger to help entrepreneurs manage bookkeeping across multiple business entities. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
We believe in transparency: we collect only what we need to provide the service, we never sell your data, and we give you control over your information.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. Authentication is managed by Clerk, our third-party authentication provider.
Business and financial data: You provide business entity information (entity names, entity types, tax form classifications) and financial transaction data through CSV file uploads or, when available, through read-only bank connections via our banking data provider (Teller or Plaid).
Bank connection data: If you connect a bank account, we access transaction data in read-only mode only. We cannot initiate transfers, move funds, or modify your bank accounts in any way. We access only the transaction history and account balance information necessary to provide the service.
Usage data: We collect standard usage information such as pages visited, features used, browser type, and device information to improve the product.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (such as transaction records required for tax or legal compliance).
We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that follow you across the web.
Mycoledger is a business tool designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
